At Home in the World I, II, III 2017-2019

A series of three handmade books with original art work Collage, drawing and text. Size: 28 x 21 cm, 28 -32 pages.

At Home in the World I In late 2016 I went to Uganda to visit Urban Refugee Office, Kampala, a small NGO assisting refugees from neighboring countries. I had private conversations with 12 of the refugees. The book is my artistic procession and reflection after the meetings.

At Home in the World II The book is based on travel and work among refugees in Lebanon, Turkey and Greece.

At Home in the World III The book is based on a stay in Athens Greece, as an Artist in Residency. I stayed in a neighborhood with a high number of refugees and economic crises. The book reflects the meeting I had with locals and newcomers in the area
